Joshua Hanley

Injury: Fracture of C-6 vertebrae
Cause: Boogie board accident
Place: Nicholson, GA
Date: May 26, 2008

Joshua was riding boogie boards with his 3-yeard old son on Memorial Day 2008. While running down the beach, his son fell and Joshua jumped over him to avoid a collision. Joshua landed on his head in 2 feet of water and suffered a fracture of his C-6 vertebrae. The resulting fractured cervical vertebrae left Jesse with full range of motion above his chest and in his arms, but limited functionality in his hands and below his chest.

SCORE was pleased to assist Joshua in constructing a 300 sft addition to his home as a therapy and exercise room.
