Sean Gjos
Sean is Principal at Triton Pacific, a Los Angeles based private equity firm. Sean has also worked for a boutique investment banking firm in Connecticut and a Los Angeles based technology enterprise. Sean has an M.B.A. from the Anderson School at UCLA and a B.A. from Brown University. Sean resides in Marina del Rey, CA.
Eric Eisner
Eric is co-founder of the Internet entertainment startup company, Romp.com. He has also been a professional hockey scout with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Eric has an M.B.A. from the Anderson School at UCLA and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
Ralph Vogel
Ralph is currently Managing Director at Mandeville Partners, a private equity investment group in Los Angeles. Ralph has also worked for Bain & Company and worked for a nonprofit organization in Costa Rica. Ralph has an M.B.A. from the Anderson School at UCLA and an A.B. from Harvard College. Ralph resides in Santa Monica, CA.
Jim Young
Jim currently works for Arena Solutions, a provider of on-demand product life cycle management software in Menlo Park. Jim has a background in investment banking and entrepreneurial activities, having worked for Bank of America Securities, Salomon Smith Barney and Grand Central Communications. Jim has an M.B.A. from the Anderson School at UCLA and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
Bruce Dobkin, M.D.
Dr. Dobkin is a professor of neurology at the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine. He is the Medical Director of the Neurological Rehabilitation and Research Program and co-director of the UCLA Stroke Center. He has been continuously funded for the past decade by the National Institutes of Health for basic and clinical research studies aimed at lessening the disabilities of people with stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury and multiple sclerosis.
Peter Dunn
Mr. Dunn is Director of Gift Planning for the California Community Foundation in Los Angeles, CA. Previously, he was Program Coordinator for Community Foundation Services with the Council on Foundations in Washington, D.C. Peter is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University at Buffalo School of Law.
Phil Polishook
Mr. Polishook is the owner/operator of Deskmakers. Phil was previously Vice-President of Marketing for eToys, where he was a member of the founding management team. Before joining eToys, Phil held marketing and business development positions with Disney Online, Time Inc. and Prodigy. Phil is a graduate of the University of Chicago.
Tim Burke
Tim is a Managing Director at Rosewood Capital. Previously, he worked as an Equity Research Associate at Fidelity Investments where he led the firm's public investments in the footwear sector and helped manage the Retail Select Portfolio. Tim also worked at Nike, where he was an Associate in the Strategic Planning division. Tim earned an M.B.A. from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and an A.B. from Harvard College, where he was a member of the school's NCAA Championship ice hockey team.
Peter Poullos
Pete is currently completing a radiology residency at Stanford University, where he is affectionately known as "Da' Man." Previously, Pete completed six months of a gastroenterology fellowship at UC-San Francisco, before a cycling accident injured his spinal cord at the C-4 level. Pete obtained his medical degree at the University of Texas - Houston and his undergraduate education at Santa Clara University.
Ken Firtel
Ken was born in Boston but grew up in San Diego, where his family moved when was one year old. He attended Yale University for college, and the University of Southern California for law school, while spending a year in between at the London School of Economics. After law school, Ken worked at the law firm of O'Melveny & Myers, LLP, specializing in transactional work before moving to Platinum Equity, LLC, where he is a business legal professional in the private equity community.
Vicki Brakl
Vicki hails from New York where she received a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and a Masters of Business Administration from Pace University. She currently is Vice President, Marketing at the Radiate Entertainment Group. Vicki is responsible for qualifying and managing SCORE grant applications.
Karin Cooke
Karin is Program Director for Full Circle Fund, an innovative non-profit that is using a results-oriented model for addressing community problems. Prior to joining Full Circle, Karin was the Executive Director of SCORE, where she managed fundraising, program development, grant making and marketing efforts. Karin has also worked with Head Start, collaborating to create a health care literacy program; Respond.com, a lead-generation service, developing an affiliate program; and the Berkeley Center for Executive Development, managing international corporate management programs. Karin received an M.B.A. from UCLA and a B.A. from UC Berkeley.
